CONCORD, N.C.Sheldon Creed delivered a determined and focused performance in Saturday’s Blue Cross NC 250 at Charlotte Motor Speedway’s ROVAL, earning an 11th-place finish and securing his spot in the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs.

Behind the wheel of the No. 00 Road Ranger Ford Mustang for the Haas Factory Team, Creed once again proved his ability to perform under pressure. The 27-year-old California native battled changing track conditions, multiple restarts, and high-intensity playoff traffic throughout the 68-lap event — extended by a green-white-checker finish — to clinch the finish needed to advance.

Creed and crew chief Jonathan Toney executed a sharp, calculated race plan that kept the No. 00 Ford in contention all afternoon. Creed finished ninth in Stage One and fourth in Stage Two, collecting valuable stage points that proved crucial in his advancement to the next playoff round. His calm approach and ability to adapt to the ever-changing rhythm of the ROVAL allowed him to stay up front when it mattered most.

“I’m really proud of this Haas Factory Team,” said Creed. “The ROVAL always throws something at you — it’s one of those races where you’ve got to stay composed and make smart moves all day. We didn’t have a perfect race, but we executed when it counted, and that’s what keeps you alive in the playoffs.”

The strong performance continues Creed’s consistent playoff run and highlights his versatility across NASCAR’s most demanding tracks.

“We’ve got a lot of momentum right now,” Creed added. “Advancing to the Round of 8 is huge for this team and everyone at Road Ranger and Haas Automation. The next few weeks are going to be intense, but we’re ready. We’ll keep digging, take it one race at a time, and make sure we’re in the Championship 4 when it’s all said and done.”

With the Round of 12 complete, Creed and the Haas Factory Team turn their focus to the Round of 8, beginning next weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, followed by Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway — three pivotal races that will decide who advances to the Championship 4.

Fans can catch all the action from Las Vegas live on NBC and MRN Radio.
